WRMS was incubated by IIT Kanpur in 2004, with initial support from SIDBI. Since then, we have attracted key investments from UPL Limited, and received prestigious global grants from organizations like the ILO and Ford Foundation, solidifying our place as industry leaders in risk management solutions.

WRMS owes its existence to our beloved Founder Late Sh. Sonu Agrawal, a first-generation entrepreneur and an inspiring leader who envisioned the prosperity of the farmers by leveraging innovation, data, and technology.

Sonu set a unifying vision for WRMS that guides and inspires us, as we endeavor to take the company to new heights. He is not with us today but he will always be remembered for his unparalleled passion to excel in his work & life. His aspirational direction motivates and drives us every day to continue our untiring efforts to achieve bigger milestones and innovations.

Neha holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and is pursuing actuarial science. She is passionate about risk modelling, data analytics, and insurance & its applications. At WRMS, she leads the data analytics & underwriting team, and she has been instrumental in expanding the company’s global footprint. Her role here includes portfolio pricing, loss assessment & management, and designing customized insurance products.

At WRMS, he heads the international business tie-ups for the company’s risk management vertical, strengthening the company’s international operations across the globe.

At WRMS, he heads the Agriculture Services department and runs a team of agri-experts to provide sustainable Package of Practices and crop solutions to farmers.

At WRMS, he is tasked with the responsibility of improving the processes and providing the best operational solutions for a portfolio that includes weather data collection & processing, pricing, CCEs, enrolment, proposal verification, and bank audit.
CB has over 12 years of experience in the IT industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications and is passionate about process optimization and automation. He has been published in reputed international journals and is also a frequent speaker at industry events in the fields of telematics, IoT, & Big Data.
